Calum Hardie

Technical Consultant

Calum joined Accord in 2014 and is a Technical Consultant working in the measurement team. Calum is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with experience since 2008 in flow measurement and hydrocarbon allocation within the oil and gas industry.

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dundee, Calum joined NEL as a project engineer.  At NEL, Calum worked on a varied range of projects such as designing flowmeter calibration facilities including experimental facilities for the LNG and carbon capture and storage industries.  Other projects included research and consultancy in flow measurement for the oil and gas industries.

Since joining Accord, Calum has gained further experience including a secondment to Altera Infrastructure (formerly Teekay) to provide operational support as an instrument and metering engineer for two FPSOs in the North Sea.  Calum’s expertise includes designing and specifying metering systems along with performing measurement uncertainty calculations.
