Job: Senior Consultant - System Delivery

To expand our System Delivery capacity, we seek Senior and Technical Consultants to be based in either Aberdeen, UK or Perth, Australia.

Internationally, Accord has delivered and supports a range of computer systems for hydrocarbon transportation, allocation and emissions reporting. The business domain and the typical functional scope of those systems are described on our System Delivery page.

Our roles are matched to individual experience and customer need, but typical responsibilities include:

  • Scoping and framing allocation system implementations;
  • Leading & performing business analysis and design activities;
  • Working in small teams directly with our customers' subject matters experts;
  • Overseeing both reimbursable and fixed-price projects – including scope definition; work breakdown and task distribution; tracking/reporting on progress and cost; and maintaining customer relationships;
  • Implementation of allocation and emissions reporting regimes using third-party platforms;
  • The preparation of acceptance test regimes for allocation systems and customer representation during testing;
  • The development and delivery of training courses in hydrocarbon accounting and production reporting computer systems;
  • Contributing to business development activities and sales work.

Applicants must be commercially aware, technically proficient and self-motivated. They will have 5+ years in the energy industry with relevant experience and ideally will have worked with one or more of the leading hydrocarbon accounting software platforms.

Experience in emissions reporting would be advantageous. Successful candidates will typically possess a degree in a relevant technical discipline.
