Accord Charity Committee Donation Recipients for 2024

Accord are delighted to have supported many local charity and community initiatives throughout 2024.

Our charity committee was founded to manage the distribution of the annual charity budget to causes and charities chosen by our employees. More than 25 organisations benefitted from our support this year, covering a wide range of health, hospital, housing, school and sport-related causes.

Being a very sporty lot ourselves, we were delighted to encourage the next generation of football enthusiasts by providing kit for three local football teams:

• Montrose Youth FC
• Syngenta Juveniles FC
• Culter Youth FC

Donations were made to other sporting causes such as Aristyle Dance Club, Turriff Rugby Football Club and Streetsport-Denis Law Legacy Trust.

Other organisations who received our support included:

• Schools: Northfield Academy, Hazlehead Primary School
• Local fundraising initiatives: Belmont Community Cinema, Queen Elizabeth Hall Worstead
• National charities: Girl Guiding Scotland, CHAS (Children's Hospitals Across Scotland), National Trust for Scotland, John Muir Trust

Uppertunity

A Dundee based charity working with adults who have additional support needs, are neurodiverse, and have mental health barriers.

BARRK

Rescuing, re-homing, fostering and providing a vaccination programme for dogs throughout the north-east of Scotland.

Aberdeenshire North Foodbank

Combating poverty and hunger across north-east Scotland.

The ARCHIE Foundation

Aberdeen based charity with a vision to support all children in the local area with equal access to world-class healthcare and bereavement support.
