Celebrating Loch Eil Centre renovation

In May, Accord's Karen Boxall and Mike Boyd were honoured to attend the renovation celebration of The Outward Bound Trust's Loch Eil Centre, a truly special outdoor experience venue dedicated to inspiring and empowering young people.

Being part of this milestone was a powerful reminder of the importance of nature, adventure, and community in helping the next generation grow in confidence and resilience. The improvements to the site are a testament to the vision and hard work of everyone involved.

Reflecting on the visit, Karen said "This visit was a wonderful opportunity, and with such glorious weather, to see first hand the work Outward Bound is doing to invest in young peoples outdoor learning not just at Loch Eil but across the country".

Mike added "The new facilities are impressive, making for a great learning space, not to mention a respite from the midges. The enthusiasm and dedication of the team at Loch Eil really shone through, demonstrating what a great asset this is."
