EOA Conference 2024

In November, a group from Accord joined fellow employee-owned businesses at the annual Employee Ownership Association (EOA) conference in Telford.
The event took place over two days (26th & 27th November 2024) and was attended by over 800 delegates from both new and mature EO businesses across a diverse range of industries.
We are frequent attendees at the conference, having supported the event since Accord's inception in 2010. In that time, the number of employee owned businesses in the UK has grown significantly and now there are over 2,000 UK based businesses operating using the model.

Mark Lowen said "I've attended several EOA conferences over the past 14 years and this was the biggest and best yet. It's fantastic to see the growth in businesses becoming EO, especially over the last two years."
Graduate Technical Consultant Carol Smith added "This was so much bigger than I expected. Until I joined Accord, I hadn't appreciated that companies could be run as employee-owned and it's been really interesting to see the number of businesses here. I found the keynote presentation on understanding the "why" behind the "what" you are communicating to owners particularly insightful."
Ehis Ogosi attended the conference for the first time, having joined Accord in 2019. She said of the event "Attending the EOA Annual Conference for the first time was an incredible experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the employee-owned sector. The event offered invaluable insights into what it truly means to work in an employee-owned company and how to foster a culture rooted in shared ownership. The breakout sessions stood out for their relevance, catering effectively to different stages of the employee ownership journey. Additionally, the inspiring keynote speakers and the opportunity to engage with a vibrant EOA community made the conference both enriching and memorable."
Our team are proud to represent an employee-owned business and be part of this growing community.
EOA Conference 2025 ... see you there.
